Lawyer's Advice

Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

By accessing or using the Lawyer's Advice website and services ("Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About Lawyer's Advice

Lawyer's Advice is a technology platform that helps users connect with independent lawyers. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. Any legal advice you receive is provided solely by the independent lawyer you choose to engage.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Services. By using Lawyer's Advice, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information when submitting a query.
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes.
  • Do not share content that is abusive, misleading, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised access.

4. Relationship with lawyers

Lawyers who use Lawyer's Advice are independent professionals, not employees, partners, or agents of Lawyer's Advice. Any engagement between you and a lawyer (including scope of work, fees, and outcomes) is a separate agreement between you and that lawyer. Lawyer's Advice is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for the advice or services provided by any lawyer.

5. Payments and consultations

Fees for paid consultations (such as 30-minute video consultations) are shown at the time of booking. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers. Our refund and cancellation rules are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. No guarantee of outcomes

Legal matters depend on facts, evidence, and the approach of courts and authorities. Lawyer's Advice does not guarantee any particular outcome from a consultation or from any legal steps you may take.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lawyer's Advice will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to Lawyer's Advice for the relevant consultation, if any.

8. Changes to the Services

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including features, content, or pricing. Where reasonable, we will try to give notice of material changes.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, you agree that the courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Terms or the Services.
